Good Sleep is Essential for Brain Health

Recently, I had the good fortune to be invited to a small dinner party welcoming the esteemed Dr. Ali Rezai. You might have seen one of his two specials on 60 Minutes in January. Dr. Rezai is doing ground breaking work for the brain with ultrasound technology to help patients with Parkinson's, addiction and Alzheimers. He is changing their lives for the better. I asked him what was the most important way people can help with brain health and his answer was not surprising and yet so important. SLEEP! And not just any type of sleep, but sleep in darkness. Not to get too technical, but darkness stimulates the pineal gland in your brain to produce melatonin that then promotes sleepiness. Light exposure from your phone, TV, computer or other source inhibits that hormone from being made which is keeping you from having a sound night's sleep.

That's where the Wuggle comes to the rescue! While sleep masks can give you coverage, our Wuggle customers have shared they find the Wuggle to be superior to their sleep masks. Sleep masks fall off easily, but the Wuggle not only covers your eyes and head but also provides a gentle pressure with the band to create a sensory experience to help you fall asleep, stay asleep and give you your best night's rest.
